What is DTG?
What is drop shipping?
Drop shipping is where you receive customer’s orders, send them through to us, then we print, pack and post the order out to the customer..
For you this means you do not need to hold any stock, or deal with any couriers.
How does drop shipping work?
Step 1: A customer places an order
Step 2: You import this order into your account, through a range of methods either automatically or manually
Step 3: Our production staff print, pack and send the order
Do you keep garments in stock?
In our warehouse we keep some stock of a range of garments, but we can order the items shown in our garment catalogue from our suppliers.

What garments can you print on?
We can print on a whole range of garments, from t-shirts to aprons but we are limited on which materials we can print on.
We suggest DTG printing only for garments with a cotton content above 70%. Unbleached cotton (natural canvas) is not recommended due to staining..
What is the minimum order amount?
The minimum for custom orders is 10..
For fulfilment customers, we have no minimum orders.
What is your turnaround time?
We always aim to print and send your orders out the next working day whenever possible, however, due to demand this is not always feasible but we will always inform you about this at time of ordering..
Our maximum turnaround time is 3 working days (Monday – Friday). This allows us to alleviate pressure during busy periods and order stock from suppliers where needed.
What is the cut-off time for my order to be processed in the system the same day?
Any orders placed with us by 11am will have the stock ordered in (if required) and the order label printed off that same day. Orders placed after 11am will be processed the next working day, and the turnaround time starts from then.
Which e-commerce platforms can you integrate with?
Currently, we can integrate with Shopify and Woocommerce accounts and we are working on expanding this to other platforms..
If you do not have one of these stores not to worry, you will be able to manually add your orders onto our system or use our importer to upload orders using a CSV file.
Is there a subscription charge when you set up an account?
Nope! You will simply be charged for your orders, no extra costs are involved with your account.
How do I need to prepare my artwork?
DTG printing is all digital so we can print from a range of file types but to keep things simple we ask that you provide it in the following way:
300 DPI file (For a crisp print) PNG with transparent background (If you turn the transparency off you will likely get a white box around the print) Sized to print, we will scale down if needed to fit the print area of the garment but we never stretch to make them larger For detailed information, please read through our artwork guidelines here; DTGUK Artwork Guidelines
What is the largest print size?
We have a maximum print area of 40cm x 50cm, however this is specific to garment. Some garments and sizes will not fit on our large pallet. If they have to go on the small pallet then the maximum artwork size is 27cm x 30cm.
Which delivery services do you use?
We use a range of delivery services to provide different options for you and your customers. For UK delivery we use Royal Mail, with a mixture of services available. You can choose from the below;
First Class Second Class Signed For First Class Signed For Second Class Special Delivery (pre 1pm) We also use DPD as a tracked courier option. For outside of the UK we have both a tracked and untracked service available. We vary between two companies; OCS worldwide and Asendia
What do I do if my order has not arrived / not been delivered?
If you have used a tracked service then please email info@dtguk.com for the tracking information.
If your order has been sent untracked, then please allow the full time the couriers suggest for the order to arrive before querying delivery. We will be able to check the address, or if it has been sent back to us, but we cannot claim for lost untracked orders.
How often do you invoice?
If you are a fulfilment customer we invoice monthly, within the first 10 days of the month. Payment is then due within 14 working days.
If you are a one-off custom order than you have to pay up front when you submit your order.
What are your terms and conditions?

These will need to be signed and adhered to when you sign up as a fulfilment customer. For everyday custom orders you will have to read and sign the appropriate terms and conditions when placing your order.
Aside from DTG printing, which other services do you offer?
To help with your branding we can press in your own neck labels for an extra £1 per item.
We also have an in-house mug press, and currently stock ceramic and enamel mugs. If you have your own mailing bags to use, that’s no problem, we’d be happy to use these to add to your customers shopping experience.
